Why is the anime changing the story i like the manga better cause it’s has more information in it and has a very good story

I have to say that I like Fruits Basket more. Love Hina gets borderline ecchi in places, which I don’t like
That and Fruits Basket is a bit more serious, and has better character development (IE the main characters’ personalities grow and mature over time). Has good morals too.
Love Hina is good for a laugh though. To each his own I suppose.

… and I really wish whoever did the dubbing would subtitle the signs and notes. I don’t read japanese
